All castings manufactured by McKenna Group are manufactured in accordance with international, national and individual customer-specified quality standards. McKenna Group is approved to BS ISO 9001. Attaining this Standard demonstrates McKenna’s ability to manufacture castings using strict guidelines required by the aerospace, automotive and medical industries.
Using internal systems the company achieves batch traceability throughout manufacture and has the facility to maintain records for up to 30 years as required by the customer. Furthermore McKenna Group has Medical Device Certification to ISO 13485, allowing us to provide a fully finished sterile packed service as part of our generic medical range.
Because of the demanding nature of the medical, aerospace, gas turbine and other high integrity markets, all McKenna castings are subject to stringent quality controls and testing procedures.
It is this emphasis on quality that gives the foundry one of the lowest scrap and rework rates in the industry.
